Professional Minors

Undergraduate Programs

 
Students at PBU have the opportunity to earn one of four professional minors along with their bachelor's degree. In some majors, students can add a professional minor without adding credits to their program, but most professional programs require the addition of credits to existing program requirements.

Business Minor

This program requires a minimum of 18 credits of focused study in Business and includes courses in business communications, law, policy, and strategy; accounting; and organizational finance.

This program requires a minimum of 18 credits of focused study in Education and includes courses in educational psychology, instructional design, and philosophy of school education.

Music Minor

This program requires a minimum of 19 credits of focused study in Music and includes courses in music fundamentals and appreciation, theory, sight singing, and applied lessons. An audition is not required for the Music minor.

Social Work Minor

This program requires a minimum of 20 credits of focused study in Social Work and includes courses in human and cultural diversity, social work basics and organization, and internship experiences. This program is not accredited by the Council on Social Work Education.
