On Saturday, November 5, Philadelphia Biblical University students partnered with the community for Mill Creek Clean Up Day. The creek located in Penndel, is often polluted with trash. Helping with the clean up were 14 PBU students and 4 community members. Volunteers worked from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM and pulled a truck load of garbage and scrap. Not only did they clean garbage and debris but they also did some landscaping in order to clear some of the brush that obstructed the stream. The PBU Student Senate participated in the clean up along with community organizations. Student Senate exists to facilitate communication within the University and serve the students by challenging them to leadership, service, and community involvement.
