Student Handbook

Welcome

DSC_8275 Welcome to Philadelphia Biblical University. The journey you are about to embark upon will be one of the most memorable of your life. As a biblical university we have intentionally and strategically designed your experience to provide you with the best of academic, faith, and community experiences. Our hope is that you will experience an education that shapes and strengthens your faith, prepares you for occupation and service, and unites you into a lifelong process of learning within community. Whether you are a commuter or resident, part time or full time you will want to know how to find your way on this journey and what to expect along the way.

This handbook should assist you with the expectations and details that will prepare you for a successful student experience.

Dean CawoodWe understand that you will not be committing the contents of this book to memory, yet we hope that you will keep it handy as a resource. An even more appropriate resource is the staff in the Office of Student Life. This group of Student Life professionals is dedicated to providing you with the direction, answers and guidance to complete your degree and make your time with us dynamic. As a student at a Christ-centered University we do have personal and community expectations for student conduct. We urge you to read through these expectations and embrace the opportunity to walk a different path in higher education. I also encourage you to make the most of your PBU experience by being a part of the life of the campus and student community. You have selected to come to an institution which will invest into you if you allow that opportunity.

Sincerely,

Scott Cawood,
Vice President of Enrollment and Student Life
