Academic Resource CenterThe Academic Resource Center (ARC) provides academic support to all students desiring assistance, and academic accommodations and disability services to all ADA qualified students. Disability Services Academic Support Services Organization, Time Management, Study Skills, and various other Learning Preference trainings are offered through workshops or individualized instruction. Dates and times of workshops are available through the campus calendar as well as in the ARC. Students in need of tutoring may also contact the ARC. For more information please contact:
Assistance in Mastering Studies (AIMS)Students who do not meet normal admissions criteria, or who need additional academic support during their freshman year, are accepted into the Assistance in Mastering Studies program. These students are not enrolled into a formal program of study during that freshman year. Each student is closely advised by the program advisor. The goal of AIMS is to strengthen the students’ academic skills so that they are able to begin one of the University’s formal programs of study. The AIMS program is typically one year long although a third semester can be required by the AIMS advisor. Masland LibraryThe Masland Library houses a wide collection of books, reference works, periodicals, CDs, DVDs, and other electronic media via the library website. The library also offers two computer labs, a curriculum lab for Education majors, and a writing lab available for use by all students. Visit the Masland Library website now!
